The GFC hit the Gold Coast in 2008-2009, sending shock waves through the Gold Coast poroperty market. Developers fell over like nine pins and property prices went through the floor. Agents packed up and left the industry in droves. First Home Buyer auctions became the big thing as Agencies struggled to stay afloat. As we all limped towards 2010, Ray White Broadbeach marshalled it's troops on the wide Gold Coast beach it was named after for one final fling. The BLOCKBUSTER of 2010 would be the last hurrah. The end of an era.
